Our Services
Campisi Holistic Canine is a natural wellness practice intended to promote ease and comfort, while encouraging the system, or body, back into homeostasis. All of the work I offer is well-rounded and non-invasive.
From lifestyle consultation for your dog, food setup, senior and palliative care to holistically minded boarding, group outings and medical check in’s. I am here to help you compassionately care for your animal.
Clients seek out my services when dogs are injured, show a gait imbalance, exhibit behavioral problems that may be a deeper health issue. Dogs with unexplained behavioral issues, misdiagnosed conditions and the like. I ask different questions and mainly, observe. I may ask you to drop your animal off with me as to work alone with your pet. Often the pet is acting certain ways based on their humans emotional state. I need to often see the animal in their own natural state - with no influence of their loving human.
Dogs may be suffering from anxiety, excessive licking, barking, whimpering.
Mis or undiagnosed issues can lead to a variety of structural issues, leading to behavioral problems.
I work with a team of animal trainers when health, wellness, and behavior intersect.
I refer and provide suggestions.
I am not a Veterinarian; I do not diagnose, treat or prescribe medication. I do discuss natural remedies such as Bach Flower and Homeopathic formulas.
Clients can expect me to be on time, efficient, honest, and operate with fairness, kindness and integrity. If I am unable to help you, I will let you know and refer you to a professional who I feel can. If I am boarding your pet, they will be returned to you with smiles and wiggles and want to come back! If I am petsitting for you, you can be assured that your home and belongings will be cared for with the upmost respect and left spotless.

Structural Alignment
Structural Alignment involves addressing the fascia or connective tissue via movement to restore balance in the gait and ultimately restoring homeostasis. This is very gentle, and usually enjoyable for the animal.
When we study the fascia, we learn how the stories of our lives are stored in this material in the body - weaving this fabric of tension and sometimes anxiety or depression. Structural Alignment can be the beginning of a deeper understanding into your pets reality, and perhaps why they are in pain or behaviorally acting out.
Dr Ida P. Rolf, founder of Rolfing / Structural Integration, had a wonderful saying that still holds true. “Put it where it belongs and make it move”
This is the premise of Structural Alignment.

Animal Somatics
Animal Somatics is a non-invasive practice involving slow, deliberate touch (ie: stroking the spine or chest) to calm the mind and body.
The benefits promote relaxation, reduses anxiety and over-all arousal, improves mobility, and supports emotional regulation.
WHY PETS NEED SOMATIC SUPPORT
Dogs often struggle with | Loud gatherings, doorbells, visitors, travel or boarding stays, new or unfamiliar environments, routine disruptions, overstimulation.
Cats often struggle with | Territory disruption, guests in “their space”, loud or sudden noises, environmental changes, overstimulation, litterbox or routine disruption.
Holiday stress, moving or a newly adopted shelter pet can affect both species - just in different ways. Somatic work helps give their nervous systems a place to land.
